To many it Is of no surprise that Governor Sonko takes the firsr spot on the list. Known for being a man of the people, Sonko’s team have mastered how to use social media to reach out to the public. Furthering his agenda through social media, Sonko has gained approximately 2,021,019 likes on Facebook.         


2.Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga

Running for president for the fourth time in 2022, Raila Odinga is using social media to reach the masses. The former Prime Minister is best known to his supporters as “Agwambo” or “Baba” and opposition leader before the famous Handshake was initiated in 2018. With a long political career, he has garnered  1, 350, 557 likes on Facebook.       

       
3. Deputy President William Ruto

Deputy President, William Ruto entered the game of politics in 1992, as a youth organiser for the Youth for Kanu group created that year. Since then he has held various ministerial positions including Minister for Agriculture 17 April 2008 – 21 April 2010 and Minister for Higher Education 21 April 2010 – 19 October 2010. The DP seems tech savvy using social media to reach his supporters. He has 1,348, 405 likes.



4.Governor of Mombasa Ali Hassan Joho

Incumbent Governor for Mombasa is known for his stand in politics. Known as the “Sultan of Mombasa” by supporters, Joho is no stranger to scandal that shrowds many involved inpolitics. Former Member of Parliament for Kisauni 2008-2013, Joho currently has 1,060, 305 likes on Facebook

NAIROBI :WIFE BURNS HER TIPSY HUSBAND TO DEATH IN A CAR

According to an aye witness the car went up in flames, revealed that the tragic incident occurred at around 7 a.m., within the Mai Mahiu Court in the Nairobi estate. "I ran outside with a blanket (to help in putting out the fire) on hearing that there was someone trapped inside a car that was on fire, sadly, the car blew up before I even made it out of my gate," "We still don't know the events that led up to the sad incident. The firemen who came to the scene were also puzzled," he narrated. According to the witness, it is not yet clear whether there were incendiary devices within the car that resulted in the fire, as the entire interior of the car was burnt to a crisp. From the photos, the passenger seat could be seen in its metallic-frame state, further fuelling speculation over the cause of the fire. SONKO PURCHASED KSH.498.5 MILLION UPPER HILL OFFICE BEFORE VYING FOR GOVERNOR

Governor Sonko with documents in a previous event Governor Sonko is the legal purchaser of the property - LR. 209\6507 his current private office at Upper Hill  - owned by the Kenya Railways Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme. Sonko entered an agreement with the scheme’s trustees to purchase two portions of the land for Sh498.5 million on April 30, 2019 and that he paid a deposit of Sh144.6 million in accordance with the contract. The purchase happened after three tendering processes between 2017 and 2019. The former Nairobi senator confirmed he has occupied the property since May 22, 2017 when he entered into an agreement to lease it or use as office space. “The property then served as my campaign centre for the 2017 gubernatorial campaign and also as a tallying centre for Jubilee party, for the Nairobi electoral seats,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
